The annual inflation rate in the German state of Hesse slowed to 1.6% in March 2024 from 2.1% in the previous month, hitting its lowest level since April 2021. Food and energy products became cheaper, while various services cost significantly more. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.3% in March, following a 0.5% increase in February.
