Furthermore, costs fell for household items (-0.58% vs 0.45%), personal expenses (-0.07% vs 0.46%), and communication (-0.04% vs 1.67%). Conversely, prices increased at a faster pace for housing (0.19% vs 0.14%) and transportation (0.43% vs 0.15%), while declining at a slower rate for clothing (-0.22% vs -0.39%).
